How we work

Hands-on, scoped, and built to last after we step back.

We work alongside your team on the real numbers. The goal is a business that can see its cash, trust its reporting and act on it, with or without us in the room.

The pattern

Assess. Establish. Follow through.

Assess

We start with a conversation about what is happening and what you need to decide. Then we review the records that matter: recent financial statements, receivables aging, bank activity, the current forecast if there is one.

You receive
A short written summary of what we found, what matters first, and a proposed scope with clear deliverables.

Establish

We build or repair the working pieces. That might be a 13-week cash forecast, a receivables follow-up routine, a month-end close checklist, a reporting pack, or a set of control procedures.

You receive
Tools your team can maintain, documented so the work does not depend on one person.

Review and follow through

We meet on an agreed rhythm to review what changed, update the outlook and track open actions. Each action has an owner and a date.

You receive
Regular reviews, an action log, and a clear record of decisions and their results.

Ways to engage

Three common shapes.

Scope, rhythm and fees are agreed in writing before work begins.

Diagnostic

A focused review of one area, such as cash, receivables, the close or controls, ending with findings and a practical plan.

Ongoing support

A recurring relationship with set review meetings, an updated forecast and reporting, and steady follow-through on actions.

Project

A defined piece of work with a start and an end: a lender package, a cleanup, a controls review or a decision analysis.

What you can expect

Working principles.

  • Evidence firstEvery number we report ties back to a record. If something cannot be supported, we say so plainly.
  • You make the decisionsWe prepare, analyze and recommend. Your leadership team decides and approves. We do not take management authority.
  • Plain languageReports are written for the people who use them, not to impress.
  • Clear boundariesWe tell you what is in scope and what is not, including when you need a CPA, attorney or auditor.
  • ConfidentialityEngagement information stays within the engagement and is shared through private workspaces, not email attachments.
  • Built to transferWe document routines so your team can keep them running.

The first conversation

What happens after you reach out.

  • We read your inquiry personally and reply, usually within one to two business days.
  • We set up a short call to understand the situation and what you need to decide.
  • If we are a good fit, we propose a scope in writing. If we are not, we will say so and, where we can, point you somewhere better.
  • Nothing is billed and no engagement starts until you approve a written agreement.

Start with the financial issue that matters most.

Tell us what is happening in the business. We will review it personally and suggest a sensible first step, even if that step is small.
